Community projects
- suno pi toki pona is a 24 hour event on toki pona’s birthday (August 8). The language will be a whopping 25 years old! There will be a livestream the whole day with games, booths, livestreamed music, presentations, so much good stuff - and that means your help is needed! Do you have something to contribute on the stream, either by being there live or by submitting a pre-recorded video? Would you like to help organise in some way? Fill in this form!
- The annual horror zine lipu monsuta (Discord invite) is back! This year, it will be called lape monsuta. Submit a story or comic until September 1st!
- jan Jun would like you to fill out a survey about how the language is used in specific contexts!
- There was a picnic in Seattle on July 25th. It is already over, but if that sounds like something you would have joined, ask around for the Sijatoki group!
- Meanwhile, people living in Catalonia, Spain, France or Germany under 31 might be eligible for a grant for the annual European meetup!
